Yesos de Sorbas Natural Area

This is an arid desert area now located in the fork of the coastal motorway and an inland branch to Tabernas. Those that take the time to stop travelling too fast can enjoy the stillness of the desert. In the village of Sorbas they will find an unlikely conglomeration of cubist architecture teetering on the edge of a chasm. Pottery is a local craft here, and the limestone rocks have given birth to the renowned Sorbas Caves
